Mx5 Bits and Bobs thread.

Seeing as a few of us PH Ecosse members have picked up Mx5's recently i thought i'd start a little thread to discuss and post up mods, ideas, fancy Mx5 pics and deals etc.

First up, superchargers. Which one is deemed best all rounder at the minute and what's in the kit?

Awfy tempted to build my own.

Was a Greddy-based turbo conversion with ~250rwhp @ 15psi, great fun. Bit out of touch with MX5 things but last I heard the MP62 was the supercharger of choice.

Picked this up yesterday:

It's such a nice shape with the hard top on. Very happy with it, soft top is in good condition too!

Need to order a splitter as it broke in the snow just before I bought it (Previous owner is a teuchter)

Anyone know where to get a good one, not too fussed about ground clearance But don't want fibreglass. Plastic or CF preferable!

I have had a 5 in an uncharcteristic Pork free period.





Bought new in 1999 when the Mk2 came out and kept as a more or less DD for 77K miles.
Various mods on it but I'm out of date now as to who is good, used to be Mazdaspeed for big stuff in warranty, IL motorsport for braces etc, EBC did decent brake stuff - I used greenstuff - Jackson for SC, Flying Miata for turbo or HKS, exhaust was cat back custom from Powerflow, in Dumfermline at the time, local trimmers for the interior etc etc.
