From a local indy, non mx5 specialist, can you give me a ballpark figure for cambelt change and service?

I'd guess at around £300.

I payed £180 for just the labour, i supplied the parts, so in total cost me about £300 yeah.

I cannot recommend Mazda Man in Bicester enough (see recommended garages thread near the top of the page). Last November, he did cambelt, fuel filter, both gear and diff oil change, MOT, fixed a couple of MOT issues all for way under £300.

Just had a quote off my local council garage, £150 + vat for belt & pulley change. Seems good.
