Its definately quieter then my elise, it just dosent sound as quite as my mondeo. The problem is I've never owned a mainstream soft top, so I don't know how much noise you normaly get.My wife hasn't noticed it, so its not that bad.

There is little sound proofing and the hood drain tubes channel noise from the gearbox, dif & tyres into the cabin directly behind your head. They usually seem quieter with the top down because of this.
