Can anyone recommend me a place I can get a set of clear reflectors for the sides of my Mk2.5? I don't really want to pay the £50 that MX5 parts want for a set!

They get them from ILM who get them from Chrom Design. You can sometimes get a better price by going direct to them (I'd post a link but it's not so easy from my iPhone).

Thanks guys, they are all still north of £40 frown. Not interested in having them wired up, just the clear reflectors frown

I think that's pretty much the price mate. Unless you are lucky and find them on a car being broken you have the choice of pay up or don't bother.

I was afraid of that.

Found one being broken on E-bay I've contacted about them and also one place has got back to me but I'm a bit wary as the e-mail response was a different domain to the one I contacted, though I've asked them about Paypal to cover me (£20 + Delivery)

Did you miss this set then?

I've got them fitted, the quality is fine, don't see why anyone would pay twice the price for the official ones...

These are the repeaters NOT the reflectors (the ones on the 4 corners), I bought a set of theses chrome repeaters for mine when I got it. You're right though the quality is good on them.

Opps, sorry about that! £40 does some very steep for something that you can buy for £1 for a bike.

Exactly, I've found somewhere offering them for £24 inc postage. I've ordered a set but I won't say where until I've received them.

sorry for resurrecting this old thread but did you ever receive the reflectors for £24?

Unfortunately they were a pair of the side repeaters (indicators) rather than the reflectors frown

On my mk1 I just sanded down the reflectors and painted them body colour.

I failed my NCT (irish version of MOT) for having red reflectors on my import, I got some gaffa tape and covered them, retest, pass, remove tape!
