I've just rebuilt my Eunos' engine (1992 1.6) with new HG etc.., and followed my workshop manual by tightening in a spiral in stages up to 80 n/m.

The car has now done about 60 miles and 3 hot-cold cycles with no issues so far.

Do I need to recheck and possibly re-torque the bolts at any point over the next few hundred or thousand miles?

thanks
James

What does it say in the workshop manual? Do that.

It doesn't mention checking them, but I thought it worth an ask just in case it's a common issue with them loosening slightly.

What harm is there in checking them? Cam cover comes off easy enough.
