Bracknell Nutz Meet - Thursday 21 February
Discussion
The next meet is booked for Thursday 21st February, from 7:30pm, and is at our new venue, Pinewood Bar & Cafe.
Pinewood Bar & Cafe (http://www.pinewoodbarandcafe.co.uk/)
Unit 8
Pinewood Leisure Centre
Old Wokingham Road
Wokingham
Berkshire
RG40 3AQ
There is a massive car park - as you come in turn left into the car park nearerst to the cafe. Food is very cheap and cheerful and there is a range of grill/burgers, chips etc. OK, so it's a bit of a step down from Peacock Farm but is a fraction of the price (80p for tea/coffee!).
Directions
If you're approaching from the M4 direction, continue as if you were going to Peacock Farm, but as you come off the A329(M), take a right at the roundabout (instead of left to Peacock Farm). Continue down the road for about a mile and then turn right into the Pinewood Leisure Centre. If you miss the turning, carry on down to the roundabout to turn around. http://goo.gl/maps/oiu8y
Approaching from Sandhurst/Camberley/M3 direction, head up to Bracknell as normal, but turn left at the roundabout with Nine Mile Ride. Straight ahead at the next mini roundabout (for TRL) and then right at the next roundabout onto Old Wokingham Road. Turn left into Pinewood Leisure Centre after about 100m. http://goo.gl/maps/idsyN

There is a long table behind the fishtank where we sat last time, which was very good for socialising, so we'll try to get that one again, although there were plenty of other tables we could put together.
Hope to see you there.

Hey!
Picked up my first car, a '98 Mk1 1.8 back in December.
I work, quite literally, just around the corner from Pinewood Cafe so I'll swing by and say hi!
Watch out for that first speed hump btw, it's pretty brutal!
It will be good to see you - we get quite a crowd turning up now so you'll get plenty of inspiration for your MX5.Picked up my first car, a '98 Mk1 1.8 back in December.

Thanks! I do have an issue however...Yes, I catch something on that speed hump...

I'm gutted. Some guy pulled out at a junction into the left side me on the way home this afternoon. Hopefully the repair won't take too long!
Thanks to everyone who turned out on this, yet again, bitterly cold evening. It was great to see so many people, our biggest turn out so far, I think (well, at Pinewood anyway) - not sure I got to say hello to all the new peeps, but hopefully we'll see you again.
The next meet has been booked for Thursday 21st March. Details to follow in due course.

Back when I had the KYB AGX & FM combo I wouldn't have stood a chance.
