Mk3 keys in the boot.

Short title, but I think it says it all. Any ideas much appreciate. The recovery guy hasn't been able to help.

And, yes, I know, dumb thing to do... Unfortunately I don't have a spare key due to The dealership taking 3 weeks (and counting) to get hold of a replacement.

Fortunately the car is locked, on the drive and not in the way, so if needs be I can wait for the new key (I'm correct in thinking it will work and just need codeing to the imobaliser arn't I?)
