Been getting lots of pm's regarding what's available for mk3's etc.

Now unlike the earlier models you cannot find much second hand & so I & others have been pushing the modifications forward.

If you want chrome trinkets & detailing info then stop looking now as none here wink

If you want engine, suspension, mapping & induction etc this may be of interest to you.

I started this journey as I like trackdays & my car need a bit more ZOOM ZOOM wink

There are other companies but I decided to go with the championship winning car builder as I met him many years ago at a trackday & have not looked back biggrin

From Nutz, my car thread starts off slow but picks up pace cool

Will be good to see how this thread develops.... bookmarked smile

I have a 2005 S2000, but do look at the MX5 MK3.5's now and again for when the time comes to change. Very different cars I know and don't want to start another debate. It's newer and lighter and would need to be the soft top, Mazda brochure lists it as being 85kg lighter, despite the press quoted just 40kg difference.

I'm very much a naturally aspirated guy, so the tuning you're doing looks great. But if it was my money I don't think I could over look the Cosworth Supercharger kit.

My first modification would have to be the IL Motosport BBK exhaust. It sounds very deep with lots of bass. Sadly, a system like that doesn't seem to exist in the S2000 world.

How about suspension? What's everyone done there? I hear the MX5 doesn't like bumpy B roads, gets very unsettled at the rear as standard and the Eibachs don't really help with the dampening of course.

Regarding this whole process the idea behind it was to stay road legal & be fully insurable with all modifications declared.

Also with circuits around the country becoming even stricter on noise we had this in mind hence the new backbox being designed.

This will be tested at Donington next Sunday as a 95-98 day.

Last time I was there was a close call & got warned on a couple of occasions due to noise.

Remember what starts off as being a nice sounding aftermarket exhaust will be unbearable once the manifold gets swapped.

Meister R suspenion comes highly rated & Jerrick is always available for chats.

Don't fancy a supercharger hence pushing the N/A route wink
