Hi I'm looking at fitting a set of Coilovers to my 98 mk2 mx5 and at the same time I'd like to change all the bushes because I don't think they've ever been changed. The car will be used everyday on the road but with maybe a few track days so I was wondering weather it's worth fitting poly bushes due to the Coilovers or just get new rubber ones ?

Thanks guys

Poly bushes can make the car feel much harsher.

The original rubber bushes were also designed with various rubber densities by Mazda to help with the handling. Unless it's a racing car, I'd just replace like for like.

I'd check what's in there first. They are quite expensive and a pig to replace so I'd only do it if it really needed it. They tend to last quite well so you could well be ok.
