There are a number on Ebay right now for under a bag. I just bought a nice, rust-free example this week for 600 quid. Check this one:

yes that does look very nice, but many quoted as 'rust free' are far from it...

Yeah but what can you do? You can only take people at their word. Would you prefer they didn't say it was rust free? Maybe they should have said that there is no visible rust or maybe even that there is loads of rust but it's all hidden beneath a thin veneer of paint that is likely to fall off within a month.

It's ebay and he says on the ad that it's rust free so if you turn up and find the wings are falling off through rust you can just walk away. Anyway, he includes pictures of the rear of both sills and they look spotless so assuming you can't push your fingers through the sills that's about as good as you'll get.

I reckon it'll finish above £1k and looks a decent car (other than that steering wheel).

I always feel wary whenever I see an owner has made an attempt at colour coding their interior. And also when they use such a garish aftermarket steering wheel too.
