Bought it a few days ago, picking it up on Saturday. I'll be saying good bye to my trusty 2005 Ford Focus 1.6. This has been such a long week, I am very excited. It will be the first time owning and driving a RWD car, although no LSD so I won't get getting too silly.

It's a 2010 1.8i, Roadster Coupe, 21000 miles.

One question, wheel alignment? Is it as big a deal as people say, are MX-5's not aligned coming out of the factory or do they loose alignment over time? If so, I'll look into getting it done. Does anyone know of good places in Northern Ireland?

That's all for now. Can not wait!

Good choice of car! I haven't had the wheels aligned on mine, but I've found the handling, OK, unlike the mk3s I have driven.

They don't get aligned at the factory but Mazda UK should do it on import. They don't always do a good job of it though, especially if the lowering springs have been fitted. I think they use a piece of string and some bubble-gum rather than a full laser alignment rig.
