Which exhaust?

I have a 1992 Eunos Roadster and fancy a new exhaust, but can't decide on which one?

It's either the single exit MX5Parts one or the Cobalt system from MOSS. Both would be fitted with the cat replacement pipe from MX5Parts.

Both get great reviews on MX5Nutz and the OC, but I thought I'd see what the opinion/experiences on here are.

Just want to know about fit/finish, volume, ease of fitting etc.

i recently fitted an MX5Parts de-cat to my 92 Eunos and i cant stop laughing. Im 47 yrs old ffs
About £250 all in if i recall. My local friendly garage took a whole £20 off of me to fit it!
From a noise point of view, 80 on the motorways, roof up or down, is not too intrusive but it can be a bit noisy in built up areas if your gunning it everywhere. Reports from mates suggest it makes a nice noise whilst overtaking.

The Cobalt system fits beautifully and has an intermediate silencer which makes it a little bit more civilised than the MX-5 Parts single.

I am worried about the noise the MX5Parts exhaust makes. I admit I do like a "sporty" exhaust note, but don't want too look a t*t driving at 30 and making windows rattle!

Maybe the Cobalt option is better?

Fitted a Cobalt exhaust to mine recently as wanted a slightly quieter exhaust, got to say it sounds great now

No problem sure you'll like it, mines fitted with a silenced decat so isn't too loud, might be abit louder if your going for an unsilenced decat tho.
