MX5 water collection

Hi, hopefully someone can help me out.

My girlfriend has just bought an 07 plate MX5 soft top and after washing it we noticed the carpet under the drivers seat was damp. After investigting where it was coming from, we noticed water had collected under a grill by the front folding section of the roof, just behind the bulkhead. We managed to soak the water up but it looks like a drain or something may be bloked.

Does anyone know how to sort this out without taking the roof off to grt to it?

Google mx5 drain holes. (It's a well known problem )

Thanks for the help. I managed to clear the drain holes with some flexible curtain wire. It worked a treat and the water runs through uninterrupted. I think I'll be checking regularly from now on.
