Ok so those of us with mk1 Roadsters are all aware that they are advancing in years and as such there must be many with pretty impressive mileage records.

I'll start the bidding with my 1993 daily driver which does at least 200 miles per week;

That's in km so according to Google thats 132080 miles which must be infantile compared to some...

My '93 is one 109,000 miles. Its going great, apart from needing: new clutch, slave cylinder, bushes replaced, rear crank seal, valve stem seals, two new sills welded in, hardtop repainted and downpipe needs replaced.

I'm picking up a mark 1 with 138k on, on Monday. Being extremely new to the MX5 world I don't know whether that is peanuts or not..

As long as it's been looked after it's peanuts.

Ours did -ve miles last year. mistake by mot man. It's showing 105K miles on a 97 mk1. Might do about 3k if lucky in a year.

132k in a Mk1? That's not ven trying hard enough. I've heard of Mk3s with 150k on the clock.

My 2001 Mk2.5 only has around 85k miles but to be fair, around 70k of those miles have been supercharged with well over 200bhp.

It depends how many club runs the mx5oc does ? I assume you are a 'concours' member.
