Hi all, is a 1999 mk2 door the same as a 2002 mk2.5 ?

The door panel is different and there are probably other internal differences but otherwise yes, a door from one would fit on the other. You might have to fiddle a couple of bits though.

IIRC the door handle is in a slightly different position, so the door car from your car will need a little modification to fit.
