Cheap and cheerful bucket seat

I'm now living a 5 minute walk from work until the end of July (Hurrah!!), which means the Mazda has become a weekend only motor (hurrah!!).

My drivers seat is starting to look a bit worse for wear and I want to preserve it with a view to selling the whole car in August sort of time. I also want to spend the summer doing track days all over the place.

I've been looking at buying a cheap bucket seat to stick in for a few months. I've found a few seemingly cheap ones on Demon Tweeks but once you include mounts it's not quite so cheap.


Is this a bad idea and can anyone recommend a seat that fits the bill?

Im assuming most seats will work fine with the standard seat belt?

Any advice on mounts?

I've got a mk3 MX5.
