Anyone have any useful experience here- we just hit a deep pothole, in the dark, and now the car is leaking liquid, looks to be water, from behind the pass side wheelarch- it dropping from behind the wheelarch plastic cover. Nothing visible in the engine bay- that does not seem to be an area that engine coolant would be near, but is where the AC lines head to. Bloody state of the roads…

Your drain holes may have been blocked and the jolt has unblocked them. The couple of litres of water that has been sitting in your sills slowly rusting them from the inside out is now free.

Maybe.

Similarly: you have never looked for 'leaks' before and never noticed the aircon drain dripping condensate. Only if the engine is running though.
