Does an '03 model come with a remote alarm?

Hi folks

hope you can help.

Did a bog standard Mx5 on 03 plate come with a remote central locking alarm as standard? Just a viewed a car & only the keys were available no remote fob?

Mine doesn't have an alarm, but it does have a remote for the central locking and deadlocks.

did a search on MX5oc forum & appears some '03 boggo cars didnt get remote locking as standard.

Anyhow I've done the deal & hope to be in the MX5 fold next week I'll post some pics asap
