Black windscreen surround on a red, yellow or....

any coloured MX5, is this a standard thang, all the ones I have seen so far are colour matched to the car.

it's not standard - i have it on my white car tho (partly because some of the paint fell off and it was easier than trying to match it )

I've seen a few like that, think it looks good on the white and yellow cars I have seen.

Have a look at Nocturnal's red example which has the black surround. Looks very striking with a black hardtop.
