Rapid intermitent Battery Discharge
Discussion
Hi everybody, new to Pistonheads but a couple of friends said I should give it a try. I am the proud owner of a 1992 Eunos, however I have started having a real problem.
On hot days the battery discharges itself, so bought a new battery checked it was fully charged and fitted it. Within 3 hours Battery was dead. Called Auto Electrician, we could not find a fault anywhere, current drain was 18mV. No alarm fitted.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on as I am struggling to find a sollution.
Cheers in advance
Dave

It could be a faulty main beam relay, I had one on my '92 Mk1 & someone else had a very similar problem on here a week or so ago.
You won't notice that it's on due to the fact the lights are retracted - the only indication you will have is the blue main beam indicator on the dial cluster & that can easily be missed in broad daylight.
