RX 8 Glovebox

I know this may be a strange question but I am currently a juror on a court case and I would like to clear up something.

Is the glovebox on an RX 8 lockable and would it be large enough to hold a small handgun or even two handguns. Obviously I can't give any details on the case but I would like these answers if possible.
