My 5 celebrates its 100th :)

Had a run down to Cornwall this wkend, around 450miles all told, the 5 celebrated its 100k miles in style with glorious sunshine ,top down & twisty coastal roads aplenty. Fab driving weekend

Of course there are many much more venerable 5s here with spectacular milages, but reaching the 100 & being in such good shape & rarely missing a beat, speaks volumes for the 5 IMHO, (miles not kms). Aaaah its going to be a great summer!

I was looking at a 1.6 Import with LSD/Leather etc at the weekend, but insurance want £3500 for a year

It seems that with the right amount of attention (and sometimes none at all!) these little motors just keep on going!

Gave mine a treat at the weekend cambelt, waterpump & oil change. Just nudging 219,000kms on '04 M 1.8 R ltd Eunos still pulls like a train.

Ha! my mk2 is showing close to 50k miles (yes fifty) at nearly eleven years old... I am slowly re-addressing the under-use it has had with previous owners. Awesome car!
