3 MX5's, an £11.99 camera and half an hour learning how to use Windows Movie maker and Youtube.

Quality is a bit poorer than I expected, but thats youtube for you, it looks and sounds miles better on my PC.

Enjoy!

You have a nice exhaust note there!

(I was complimented on mine recently by a fellow '5 owner, interesting as mine is standard as far as I know.)

Thats the one. Mines the 'spycam' version,

but the keychain ones are exactly the same internals in a different moulding, I beleive.

I've tried a number of mounting points, including on my Roll bar - it looks good. The problem with moutning it forward facing or on top of the car is all you get is dreadfully loud wind noise. By moutning it rear facing you get the nice exhaust sound. I bought it as a pre-cursor to buying a 'good' camera, something I've always fancied.

Pretty good quality considering the size/cost of the camera! You're putting ideas into my head now, my previous videos have been filmed handheld by passengers and end up a little shaky... hehe

You can fix the wind noise to some extent by putting things like tape or a bit of cotton wool over the mic opening

I've tried that - the problem is, the camera is so small (it really is smaller than you think) that i dont think it has a specifc Mic opening. I've experimented by lowing down the various holes in the body and they all give wind noise. I think i'd have to make a kind of cradle, and just have the lens peeping out.

That's really good. I wonder what the sound quality is like (wind noise etc) if you fix one to the sunvisor?

Forward facing, I mean. Just thinking it's pretty sheltered, and you wouldn't be able to see the speedo in the videos... whistle

Ohh will have to splash out on one of these,

What sort of size SD card would you recommend for decent length vids?

I would love to use this on the car, mountain bike and even the RC Boat if I am feeling brave.

Was dissapointed no one got the tail out considering it was wet. Not that I would condone that sort of thing on Public roads..............
