So tomorrow my 1990 supercharged 1.6 is going on a rolling road.

Standard JRSC kit, no other engine mods. Apart from a TDR/K&N air filter relocation kit.

So feel free to guess my BHP at the fly hehe and I'll be back tomorrow (sat) evening to post the results, and an e-cookie to the closest!

Bonus points for correct torque figures, as well.

Not a bad result! How flat was the torque curve? - how about posting a scan of the print-out?

Was just about to smile

Pleased with the results, both curves (the red and orange are the important ones, I'm told to ignore the wheel figures on these particular dynos) are nice and linear

And this is what it was last year wink

Very happy with the increase and happy that I can now put figures to it! smile

Not too sure on the in's and outs of rolling road calibration, but how can you ignore the WHP figure? Surely the flywheel power is the guesswork part?

The wheel power on those rollers is done with 2 contact patches per tyre, so going to have more drag than a normal road, hence the wheel power isnt accurate.

The point being made though is that the wheels driving the rollers is the only thing being measured. The engine power is just a calculation made from the wheel power so the only accurate figure is the wheel power.
