Morning guys

noticed today I have a slight misfire if I am in 2nd and pulling away slowly from low revs I.e traffic sort of pace. Its literally a split second then smoothes out as the revs rise.

Sparkplugs and gap adjustment perhaps? Plugs are barely a year old. Or dodgy leads?

Cheers

Leads are more likely. Plugs can last years (I'm still on the same set that were fitted when my car was first supercharged 5 years/40k miles ago). For some reason, leads tend to die an early death on MX5s.

Ok cheers guys smile

are any old leads suitable or are the more expensive splitfires worth the outlay?

Cheers

This, and do the temp sensor too - also a common one.
