Picked up my eunos mk1 yesterday ,the only car ive every bought without test drivingsmile
The car was sat all dusty in the corner of a local showroom unregistered for a few years, but i pursaded the garage owner to sell it me (i reckon he was keeping it as a project car as it was a turbo conversion).
He removed all the turbo bits and bobs and reverted it to a std 1.6.
its just been sva`d and and had a full service-fluids plugs/leads/brakes and cambelt
It drives great just got to get used to the indicator on the wrong side!
Lets hope the good weather holds outsmile

Many thanks, the silver/red combination seems to work and its one of the reason i liked the car ,as it stood out.
The other reason was the condition of the bodywork esp the underside it looks more like a 2 yr old car than a 1993. smile

Looks good - I think that interior is originally from a Harvard, which were also silver. I like the red hood too. As for the indicators, I prefer them on the right - your right hand is nearly always on the wheel, whereas your left might be changing gear or adjusting the heater or radio, etc.

No the indicators are on the correct side, it's these bloody silly European cars that have it wrong.

think its sva smile ,anyhow the car needed a rear fog light and also changed speedo face to a mph one and got a reg number from dvla.
Cheers for the positive comments, just fitted some chrome air vent bezels from mx5parts -just brightens the dash up a bit.
Trying to resist spending too much on add on`s ! (got the mxparts catalog-some of the stuff is £££)
Will get a stainless front grill and thats about it for now....in the future might get it lowered a bit and look into it sounding a bit more sporty (i miss my old tvr`s burble)

Looks very good! Really like that Silver/Red look.

What does the red sticker say under the Eunos badge?

rear fog is for the mot, sva is only required for cars younger than 10 years old,
anyway the colour combo is probably the nicest available, heres a word of advice, stay away from mx5parts....because once you start buying bits you won't beable to stop!!laugh

Nice clean '5, but why take off the turbo bits?

I guess the garage owner could make more money selling a std 5 and selling the turbo and bits and bobs separately (he said could get around £1500 for the turbo stuff)
