MK1 Electric Windows Question

Hi All,

I am busy fixing my mum's MX5 and have a question: Is it possible to convert the original non-electric mechanical windows to fully electric using this:

For a bit of background:

The previous owner used the existing window handle and mechanism and converted it to "electric" using 2 pulleys and and a 'chain' linking a motor to the original winder handle. This has obviously now broken so I am trying to use something more robust. All the switches and in place aswell, which saves me a wiring job!

Any help or advise would be great!
