If I were to punt an MX5 that has been written off as a CAT D, but is still MOT'd and driveable, where would you punt it for maximum return?

You know. Just if I were so say going to do such a thing?

I'd put it on PH the Owners club and Nutz at what I thought was the right price. And if it didn't go. Then stick it on E-Bay.

Oh...err...what did "someone" do to get such a situation?

I'd say eBay.

A lot of posters on Nutz, etc keep an eye on eBay for anything out of the ordinary so they'll find it for themselves if it warrants any interest. In addition, with eBay you'll have all the people who aren't particularly interested in MX-5s but who browse eBay looking for damaged/repairable stuff of any description.

Most forums insist you put a price on your advert, so if you're looking for as much money as possible, auction bids might be the way to go.

I have a price in mind, not too mental, so happy to do that.

It'd been hot up the arse and puched into the car in front.

Repair the indicator lense and it'd be fine. Obviously the engineer wrote the whole damn thing off.

Just needs tax. And some love. Comes with spare wheels with good tyres all round, spare clutch (that will need fitting) and some rust sorting.

Bargain for someone handy with a spanner. I just need it off my drive hehe
