UPDATE... PICS ADDED!!!!!

I am now the proud owner of a Silver 1992 1.6 Uk Mk1 in near immaculate condition smile

Its got 74,000 miles, Fsh, oil changed every 6 months, all niggles sorted out and no expence spared.

Paid £1800

Got a few extras:

new wheels (undecided if im keeping them yet)

Momo steering wheel

Momo roll bar

some chavved up kenwood radio which i will be changing. (comes with a remote control so you can operate it from the back seats.....)

front strut brace bar

4 new tyres, but sadly they are ling longs. Seems to grip enough at my current driving ability so i might keep them to save myself some cash.

Private plate which i am awaiting a quote for. I will sell it if its worth something- im not bothered what plate is on it.

A few stickers which are being removed as a priority!

There isnt a spot of rust on it and the engine is a peach! Sound good at WOT which i am very happy with.

This is by far the most fun car I have owned (narrowly beating the mini due to roof down action!)

Well Chuffed!

Finally, My new favourite button smile

Congratulations on a fine purchase!

Word of advice - try not to look on mx5parts.co.uk for a while. You may go bankrupt very quickly... smile

Well done! I've just picked mine up as well and "four new tyres" was a selling point. I think mine are better than ling-longs but not much!

Let's see pics

I can't believe how many people are buying them at the moment. We will need to set up a PH MX5 Owners Meet in a very big car park.

This!

Although there is a thread at the top of the MX5 section for MazFest which I think a few of us are going to.. The more the better!

Also! Sounds very good, only thing about the tyres watch when it gets wet.. I've Paradas and they're not forgiving in the rain.

Well done on your new purchase, and what better way to show it off than by coming to the meet in Bracknell on Thursday night - a chance to see what modifications you can make, and bankrup yourself in the process!
