Squeaky belts - how to stop the mice?
Discussion
When I am idling or at a junction, the overriding noise is a high-pitched squeaking coming from the engine bay, presumably a/the belts.
As well as standard belts, I have additional belts in relation to the JRSC. Is there a catch-all solution or do I need to be careful in treating certain belts (assuming I need to apply some sort of lubricant)?
Cheers all,

Yes, dont blather them in oil, check the belts and check the alignment + tension.
How old are the belts?
Also - how old is your waterpump? They shriek like hell for a bit giving you prior warning that the bearing is about to munch itself and leak coolant everywhere. Keep an eye on your coolant level closely...
