Thats a great looking five. I want a splitter-number plate set-up like that. How is the plate mounted?

Its a GV lip from MX5parts, and its not fibreglass so is much more forgiving on speedbumps. Still costs almost £150 though.
Side plate is fixed to the front 'strap' eyelets and cost about £15.

Cheers. Appreciate the reply. Mines off the road with cracked rims(don't ask) am trying to get replacements otherwise I'm gonna have to hitchhike to work! But whilst it's down will swap the plate and give it a pre-mot service... Fingers crossed.

Smacked a huge pothole. Like a small pond in size, there was a god awful thump and a ping and then some vibration at speed whilst trying to drive home. 70hour weeks with a 6month old baby do not make for a very alert ncow!

I was only there until about 4pm haha.

All fine in the end though.

Good to meet you.

That'll do it! I did the same thing in my old Mk1 - bent the 2 nearside wheels in a pothole on the outside of a bend and I was pushing quite hard at the time! Although I replaced them with OZ Superlegerras I did get them repaired and put them back on when I sold the car wink

Car's looking very good Matt. I still look at your car every now and then and think to myself "it could have been mine", but still very happy with the one I ended up in (passed MOT last month with no trouble).
