Need Mazdaspeed MX5 Eunos roll bar fitting instructions plea
Discussion
If it's like mine (chrome main bar with large L-shaped plates at the end, with 2 rear brace bars bolted to the main bar with differently shaped flat feet on each side) then the main bar bolts on using the seatbelt top mounting bolts. Mine also has a couple of small bolts that go horizontal into the seatbelt towers through the plastic trim.
The rear braces sit on the rear shelf and are held down with a few small bolts - the bar was on the car when I got it so I've no idea if the rear brace bolt holes are already there or not or whether you need to drill them - once the bar is bolted down to the main 2 fixings on the seatbelt towers it should be pretty obvious whether the small holes are there or not.
Edit - just checked the car and the rear brace bolt holes are built into the flat bodywork areas that are above the fuel tank, they have captive nuts welded on the underside.

As far as I'm aware there were two different types, one that bolts to the rear shelf and another that goes through the shelf and gets bolted to the boot floor.
If you have the first type then once the carpet and soundproofing's off it should be obvious where to bolt it too. If you don't have the original fittings you'll need to get some suitable bolts and it also normally comes with some aluminum spacers so the spreader plates sit flush.
All but one of the holes on the shelf have captive nuts, the rearmost on the drivers side will need a nut and bolt.
If you need any further info let me know as I have one with all the fittings in the garage.
