Anyone have a uk spec vinyl rear window?

I've bought a replacement hood for my local old stbag of a thing (2nd roof) but someone has attacked the rear window which is a uk spec (zip around the actual window, not down the sides) so I was wondering if anyone has one they're not using and looking to sell???

Could also use a working 5 blade rad fan too, but I've got a contact for that if no-one has one

Eh? UK & Jap spec hoods/rear windows are exactly the same! Do you have photos so we can see what you mean?

I dont have photos of mine at the moment, but the jap hoods I've had for the mk1 all zip along the edge and down the flanks of the hood towards the door. The Uk spec seems to zip around the edges of the window itself and no more

Mines the original UK supplied hood. And that's as you describe the "jap hood". The zip being a "goalpost" type shape panel in the rear of the hood.

A UK spec hood is the same as the Jap spec zip that you described. I can only assume that the hood you have on your UK car isn't a standard Mazda hood.

Hmmm no idea then

All I know is the window zips around the window itself with a small overhang where the old hood had the goalpost zips
