I am getting my Exedy Spec 1 clutch fitted this week.

My neighbour is a mechanic and he said he will give me a price before he takes the car in to work.

My question is, how much should I be looking at to get my clutch fitted in my MK1 Eunos?

Cheers

James

It's relatively easy apparently. Mr. Clutch quoted me £260 all in (i.e. supply and fit) so I would expect it to be half that amount or less.

Well my spec of clutch costs over £200, I am expecting around the £150 mark.

Was just curious as to other thoughts.

If it's an experienced mechanic in a workshop with a lift, I would say no longer than 3 hours labour.

I did mine (on a lift, and with some help, but lots of tea breaks!) in a leisurely 4.

Seem to remember the "official" time being more like 2.5Hrs in autodata.
