I've noticed when playing music loud (touch of GnR ) i can feel the base sounds through my back .
I suppose there must be speakers in the seat backs but I get no sound from the headrest speakers .
Are they effective when working? It does have door speakers that must be of a good quality because the sounds are great .

Some roadsters came with a bass kit extra with in effect is a sub mouunted within the seat. Im guessing you have leather seats as i think it was only an option on things like the s-special etc etc

You have the Mazda Sensory Sound System (MSSS) Its driven by a pioneer headunit and speaker wise you have mids and tweeters in the doors , headrest speakers and bass transducers in the back of the seats.
