The back window on my mk2 has been broken, is it possible to get a replacement or do I have to have an entire hood? It's currently a heated glass one.

On a Mk2 the hood is one-piece so you can't replace just the rear section. You might be able to get new glass fitted though but I'm not sure where would be able to do that. Try a dealer or the usual windscreen places first, they should at least know if it can be done...

Thanks will have to give them a call, I know it's not a zip on one like the Mk1 but someone said I would have to replace the entire hood and I want to check before I spend a fortune on a lid whether it is necessary.

Not 100% sure but I think, if you can find somewhere to change it, it's the same glass as for rear screen of 2CV wink

Bump of an old topic, going to ring Autoglass in the morning see what if the rear glass can be replaced into the existing hood.

If not where do you guys recommend for a replacement fitted hood, I'm to the West of the Midlands (almost Wales) and I don't want to travel a million miles if I don't have too.

Thanks in Advance
