Just a quick heads up. From the 14th Lidl have got their battery chargers in. Works with the glass mat battery as well. £12.99. I got one last year and it was very good.

Cheers! The axle stands are a great buy too, my dad got a set last time and they've had a lot of use and are good quality, I can confirm that two of them will support the front of a mk.1 Eunos for 4 weeks whilst you try and get the seized mounting bolts on your clutch slave off!

P.S. where does it say the offers aren't on until the 14th, I can't find a date anywhere.

Along the top of the web page is a list of all the offers on. The "on the road" offer, of which this is a part starts on the 14th.

Is it a trickle charger or for charging a dead battery?

And is also great for reconditioning gel type batts like the OE Panasonic type and the westco type.

If it's a gel battery (as it should be in an MX5) then only a trickle charger will work with it either way.

I don't have a 5, I'm just here to find out about the charger. Sorry!

Bought one of these a couple of years back. Luckily for me i`ve so far not had to use it but they are highly recommended for these cars.

Incidently Aldi have one in stock now for the same price.

They also have their torque wrench in stock again for £12.99 so i just treated myself to one!
