I think it's fair to say that has a dealer premium, yes. Still, if it's as immaculately prepared as they usually are then you could pay almost that getting one and making it minty mcmint.

Customer Service is supposed to be excellent.

e.g. get car home, use for a week, window stops working, no quibble they'll fix it and give you something to punt about in while they do so.

And that'd explain the prices...

as said exspencive but very nice, there not many mk1s around that are that mint these days so may be worth the money if you will keep it that nice.
