1993 Mx5 V Spec
Discussion
Hi all,
Never posted in this section before. I am possibly going to have a look at a 1993 V Spec MX5 1.6L that i have seen an advert for. The advert does not say musch about the car at all spec wise, could anyone tell me what the V Spec has or does'nt over other mk1 MX5's? or has anyone got any comments or feedback on this particular model.
I have owned a MK2 1.6 in the past, just a standard one, and I loved it but sold it due to having a company car, would love a newer model right now but most of my money goes into my Yamaha R6, So i figured the Mk1 would be perfect, plus i have read a lot of people say the mk1 is better than the mk2.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The V-special should be either British racing green or occassionaly black and the important bit is that it should have a tan leather interior along with a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel. Should also have electric windows, air con (which probably won't work), pas, stainless steel sill tread plates and an lsd. One of the biggest issues with the V-specs is the condition of the leather, particularly the driver's seat which can wear badly. Other than hat, look out for the usual MX5 problems (rust on arches, sills etc).

This one I take it?
Lovely looking car and price is an UBER bargain. Check sills, general condition as pics can make cars with lots of dints look v shiny, and HPI it. That is well cheap!
Edit: wheels non-standard but look similar to the BBS style. Strictly they should be 14" and gold but tbh I'm not a fan of them.
