Hi new owner of one H reg MX5 for a week and I have managed to break my only key!!! Eeek

1. Can I get a copy of key? Would locksmith be able to do this?
I could get one ordered online but how can I be certain that the code on key is right?

2. I have only gone and locked my company laptop in boot and both doors are locked can someone advise me on getting this open.

As a new member I am unsure that my pm will work so if not I will let ppl know my email if you have suggestions

Please help

Get yourself round to your local Mazda dealer who will get the job done properly for you without unnecessary damage, etc.

A decent key cutter should be able to copy a key for you.

I lost my only key to my gsxr once, found a bloke on the Internet who came out in a van and made me 2 new keys for £90. He didn't even ask for any documents or anything, scary how easy it was! I might "lose" the keys to my Lambo collection wink

Ahhhh right only found one person so far covers where I live but he can't come til Monday!

Anyone please know a mobile locksmith who will come to North Norfolk?

It's more the case of getting the boot open at mo as I can use in-law car to get to work but I dont think work will see the funny side when I turn up without laptop!

Please any suggestions - the husband is current trying to get key cut but anything else?

Hubbyshould be able to get it cut, may cost a bit more than usual, due to extra hassle involved. Make sure new key works & then get a spare cut.
