Hi everyone - picked up our H reg Eunos this evening. Exhaust is blown somewhere and have HEAT warning light on permanently on dash. Is this becuase exhaust has blown and is it still safe to drive.

It's a cat heat warning light for the Japanese market. Ignore it. Better still remove the sensor or the bulb.

There is a link somewhere on the net showing where to remove the sensor. Can't find it so here is a post from the OC.

"You can unplug the sensor and tape the loose end up out of the way (there's a connector about a foot away from the cat). That'll put the HEAT light out permanently. Doesn't affect anything, as the sensor only lights that lamp - it isn't wired to the ECU or anything like that - and it's not an MOT requirement (only Japanese market cars have them fitted)."

Thanks guys - yes I found the link too last night - now where is that duck tape!
