What other wheels fit a Mk.1 MX-5?

Looking to get some winter tyres on my MX-5 as it was utterly hopeless on F1s last year.

Don't have a spare set of wheels though, so I'm looking for a set of cheap alloys (not bothered if they are scabby as long as they are straight and pref. not hideous aftermarket jobs) or steelies.

Ebay's not turning up much at the moment and the usual suspects list steel wheels at crazy prices. I would have thought I could pick up a set of tatty steels for a tenner, or a ratty set of MX-5 minilites for not much more.

Any ideas for sources? Failing that, what else will fit? Can I go to a scrapper and ask them for some steel wheels that fit?

Pretty much anything with 4x100 stud pattern and an offset around 35-45 should be fine.

Wheels from BMW E30 3-series, Toyota Yaris, small VWs (old polos, golfs) all fit (PCD 4x100, as said). Lots of scabby E30 wheels about.

BMW MINI's are 4x100 too and a few people have used the steelies that come on the basic ones, painted white look pretty neat and would be good winter wheels?

The wheels on this Clio are now on our MX-5 track car. PCD is the same and offset about right, just needed different size spigot rings to bring the 73.1mm holes down to 54.1 for the MX-5 as opposed to 60.1 for the Clio.



Will shortly be for sale but I warn you - they're now yellow!
