Our Christmas meet is on Thursday 9th December, from 7:30pm.

The full address of the pub is:

Peacock Farm
Peacock Lane
BRACKNELL
RG12 8SS

Reasonably priced menu and the food is excellent, and a decent sized car park. I would suggest you approach the car park from the roundabout, rather than using the turn-in from the main road as the metal speed humps/flaps scrape on the underneath of the car.

Easy access from M3 or M4 for those of you who live a little further afield!

Let me know asap if you can make it as I suspect that they will be busy in the lead up to Christmas.

Sorry, heading for the snowy wastes of the North Yorkshire moors this evening (but not in the 5!) (The BBC is currently showing the road as closed because of snow - I'm hoping it thaws before I get there!)

I was up there last week, just managed to escape before I got snowed in. You might find a camera on this page to give you an idea of the weather.

Thanks for that Claire. It's the Pickering to Whitby road that is shown as closed but they don't seem to have a camera on that one. Still, while the BBC says closed, the AA makes no comment, so fingers crossed! I've put the shovel in the boot and have a thermos of soup with me...
