Mk3 Oil Dipstick

Maybe its me who is the dipstick, I'm not quite sure. But does anyone else find it difficult to read?

I just find with the aperture on the end its difficult to tell exactly what level its at?

Any tips or am I just being useless?

I find it impossible to make a statement about the oil level based on that s**t dip stick.
Have any advice grown in the meantime?
