Rusty Mk2 Rear Arches

Just picked up a cheap Mk2 MX5 but both rear arches are corroded

Ive priced up some rear wheel arch panels and had a few qoutes for fitting/painting and its working out over £700 which is cheap but its nearly ore then the car cost.

Has or does anyone know of any wheel arch covers that will cover up the corrosion as i can only find Mk1s

has it corroded through?

if not you wont need panels, just sand it back, put a decent rust inhibiter, then undercoat it and paint it
