Well after a few months of ownership I'm thinking of selling the mx5.
It's a lovely car but in my personal opinion the mk2 mr2 is superior therefore I'm thinking of selling it.
It's a 1998 r reg Berkeley with 92k miles, whats it likely to be worth?
Also is now a good time to sell or am I better of leaving it till jan, I'm currently trying to sell my daily hack (BMW 320d) and not having a lot of interest. Is it bad timing, should I wait till after Xmas?

You'll probably find you get more interest in the spring - when peoples finances have recovered from the holidays and when the sun starts to show its face again. Can't help you with value, haven't kept an eye on them since Feb, but back then I would have expected a car like that assuming VGC to go for between £1800 and £3000.

You've only had it a few months. Why not just advertise it at what you paid?

I probably paid over the odds as i got if for 2k, realistically i doubt i will get that back, but to be honest dont mind loosing a few hundred quid for a few months fun i have had in it.

But surely worth advertising it at that and accepting offers.

To be honest - good luck. Very little is selling at all at the moment.

Couldn't find it, so not surprised you're having problems selling it. hehe

Here's some advice, take some better pics and more of them, and be a bit more forthcoming with info about your car, and you may find people will be more inclined to view it!! rolleyes
