Ive just re-proofed the roof over the weekend on my mk3 using the autoglym kit, turns out to be good timing as is finally raining today. Unfortunately I've noticed a little bit of water on the passenger seat, on closer inspection there seems to be a small gap where the room meets the top of the window seal and the front 'bit'. Ive had the roof down a good few times, is there a technique to use to ensure a good seal is made? I'm hoping that is the case.

Ta!

I always do: windows down a bit - roof up - windows up. I need to do that to latch the roof anyway otherwise the window seals stop the latches reaching the catches. I'd assume it would be the same with Mk3...

Yep, I do that too.

And closing the door I make sure the window is up first then close it rather than close door and then window up because if I put the window up with the door closed the seal can turn slightly and would let water in.
