I dont suppose anyone knows how many litres of oil a 1996 mk1 MX5 uk car requires??

If I remember right the sump is the same size on all of them; mine takes just over 4 litres.

It is about 3.8 litres, buy 5 and you'll have 1 left over to top up between services. When topping up, just fill 3 litres and then do the rest in 0.2 litre stages until you're just under the max level.
