Hi guys

I hope you're all enjoying the icy conditions in your '5s!

I noticed that my front bumper has two holes in it, and I've been trying to work out what could possibly have filled them (or if they are speed holes wink).

Could anyone shed any light?

It's probably where a previous numberplate has been attached, before the offset one.

I thought that, but the holes look like they've been there since manufacture - I thought the plate was generally attached to the top part of the bumper? Or would this have been different for the Japanese imports (as mine is)?

Getting rid of unwanted weight!

OP, most definitely from a plate being mounted there.

What date did those holes appear? Perhaps they will be gone in 3 days time?

its possible the holes are from a previous front lip before your current one. My bumper has holes in it too (not in the same spot as yours or of the same size). the holes in my bumper are for the factory front lip.
