Z4 or Miata

I have this opportunity to buy a Miata. It's got ur turbo and such. It is a hard top removable convertable. I also have a opportunity to get a crashed z4. It needs repair. Shall I put money into the z4 or go with the miata turbo?

I test drove a Mk3 MX5 before I bought my last Z4. I couldn't fit in it; make sure you can.

Depending on how badly trashed the Z4 is, it could cost a small fortune to fix. If the Miata is in good nick it probably won't loose you money and will be a lot of fun. Assuming the Z4 is ok, it will come with traction control, AC, PAS, Airbags, side impact bars etc etc etc. If the Miata is an early one it will probably be devoid of almost anything. But, it's likely to be a good giggle to drive. Having gone from a (BMW) MINI Cooper S to an MX-5, I can honestly say I have a lot more fun in the 5 than I ever did in the MINI. That's not to say that BMW don't make good cars, just that they are a little soulless.
